| Therapeutic value of uterine B-Lynch suture for postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section |

Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic value of B-Lynch suture in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section.MethodsFrom May 2016 to May 2017,100 puerperae suffering from a large volume of bleeding during cesarean section in our departmentwere selected as research subjects.They were divided into research group and control group by a random number tablemethod,50 cases in each group.In the research group,uterine B-Lynch suture was used,while in the control group,conventional hemostasis was adopted.The operative time，intraoperative blood loss,24 h total postpartum hemorrhage,and total effectiveness rate by cesarean section for stanching bleeding were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe operative time was shorter than that in the control group,and the blood loss during the operation and the total blood loss at 24 hour after delivery were,lesser than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effectiveness rate by cesarean section for hemostasis in the research group was higher than that in the control group with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).ConclusionFor cesarean section patients with postpartum hemorrhage,BLynch suture can shorten the operation time,reduce intraoperative blood loss and total bleeding 24 h after delivery,and effectively increase the total effectiveness rate of hemostasis.
