| Influence of Sandplay on children′s social phobia and self-awareness |

Abstract Objective To explore the influence of Sandplay on children′s social phobia and self-awareness.Methods From October 2015 to October 2017,78 cases of social phobia children admitted to our hospital were selected as the subject,and treated with sandplay for 2 months.The clinical efficacy,self-consciousness and social adaptability of children before and after treatment were compared and analyzed.Results The CGI-GI after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment,and CGI-EI was significantly higher than that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Children′s self-consciousness,such as behavior,intelligence and school,physical appearance,anxiety,group,happiness and satisfaction were significantly higher than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the ability of independent living,exercise,communication,function and self management were significantly higher than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Sandplay therapy for children with social phobia is effective in our hospital,significantly improves the selfconsciousness and social adaptability of children,which is worthy of wide application in clinical practice.
