不同方法检测急性呼吸道感染患儿咽拭子与鼻拭子标本诊断呼吸道合胞病毒感染的评价

Abstract Objective To compare the detection result of throat swab and nasal swab samples from children with acute respiratory tract infection detected by differentmethods.M ethods A total of 315 children with respiratory infection were recruited from March 2011 to February 2012，both throat swabs and nasal swabs were collected.Viral nucleic acid or antigen was detected by both qPCR and virus culture method，the result was compared.Resu lts With virus culture method，the positive rate of nasal swabswas 12.1%，which was higher than 6.7%of throat swabs（P＜0.01）.However，with qPCR，the positive rate of nasal swab was 17.1%，which was higher than 6.9%of throat swabs（P＜0.01）.Moreover，for the nasal swabs and throatswabs，the positive rate of qPCR was higher than that of virus culture（P＜0.01）.Base on the outcome of respiratory syncytial virus（RSV）detected with virus culture in throat swabs，the sensitivities and specificities of nasal swabs by virus culture，nasal swabs by qPCR and throat swabs by qPCR was 57%，91%，4%and 91%，88%，94，respectively.Conclusion The detection of RSV with nasal swabs ismore sensitive than throat swabs，and qPCR is more sensitive than virus culture.
