| Clinical effect of individualized nursing intervention on early acute mastitis |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of individualized nursing intervention in patients with early acute mastitis.Methods 108 patients with early acute mastitis from March 2015 to March 2016 were evenly divided into observation group and control group in random,54 cases in each groups.The control group was used regular nursing,while, the observation group was provided individual nursing intervention.The clinical efficacy,breast-feeding after cessation, and incidence of breast abscess were compared in two groups.The nursing satisfaction was also recorded in both groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of observation group was 96.30%,significantly higher than that of control group accounting for 85.19%,with statisticantdifference(P＜0.05).Compared with the controlgroup,the disappearing time ofswelling pain,time of inflammation resolution,and hospital discharge were all greatly shorter in the observation group,with statisticant differences(P＜0.01).The incidence of breast abscess in the observation group was 3.70%,much lower than that in the control group of 14.81%.The rate of breast-feeding after cessation in the observation group was 96.30%,superior to that in the control group accounting for 62.96%,with statisticant difference(P＜0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of individualized nursing intervention in early acute mastitis patientscan effectively improve the therapeutic effect in clinic,shorten course of treatment,and plays a role in promoting breastfeeding,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
