| Clinical effect research of oral Chinese medicine combined with enema treating uterine fibroids of phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction |

Abstract Objective To investigate clinical effect of oral Chinese medicine combined enema treating uterine fibroids of phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction.Methods 72 patients with uterine fibroids of phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction treated by outpatient of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were screened,and they were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,and there were 36 cases in each group.The control group was given oral Guizhi Fuling Capsules,while the treatment group was given homemade Chinese medicine removing blood,reducing phlegm and stasis combined with enema prescription of Chinese medicine for enema. Two groups of patients were continuously for 15 days after the menstrual period,and treatment lasted for three menstrual cycles.Uterine volume,fibroid volume,blood estradiol(E2),progesterone and total efficient rate before and after the treatment in two groups were observed.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group(66.7%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(27.8%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant alteration of the two groups before and after treatment in patients with uterine volume,and there was no statistical difference within the group and between groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,fibroid volume was reduced in the treatment group compared with before treatment,and there was a statistical difference(P＜0.05),while there was no significant change in the control group(P＞0.05),the difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment,the level of E2was significantly lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant change in the two groups before and after treatment and the treatment for progesterone level,there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P＞0.05).Compared with before treatment,the level of E2was significantly lower after treatment in treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of oral Chinese medicine combined with enema treating uterine fibroids of phlegm and blood stasis mutual junction is significant,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
