| Efficacy analysis of ear buried seeds combined with Flupentixol/Melitracen in the treeatment of elderly hypertensive patients with mild to moderate depression |

Abstract ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of ear buried seeds combined with Flupentixol/Melitracen in the treatment of elderly hypertensive patients with mild to moderate depression.Methods70 elderly hypertensive patients with mild to moderate depression from January to June in 2016 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional antihypertensive plus Flupentixol/Melitracen Tablets,while the observation group was treated with ear buried seeds(acupoints:Xin,Shen,Shenmen,Jiaogan)on the basis of the control group.After the treatment,the changes of blood pressure,heart rate and self-rating depression scale (SDS)score were observed in the two groups.ResultsThe systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,with significant difference (P＜0.05).The systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure and heart rate after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after treatment,with significant difference(P＜0.05).The SDS scores in the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,with significant difference (P＜0.05).The SDS scores after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after treatment,with significant difference (P＜0.01).ConclusionEar buried seeds combined with Flupentixol/Melitracen can improve depression condition of elderly hypertensive patients with mild to moderate depression,meanwhile,significantly improve the antihypertensive effect.
