Analysis of influential factors of clinical efficacy of microvascular decompression in treatment of trigeminal neuralgia |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the influencing factors of microvascular decompression in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.MethodsA total of 43 patients with trigeminal neuralgia were treated with microvascular decompression in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016.All patients were followed up for 4 months.The patients were followed up for recurrence and relapse.The factors such as age,sex,type,lesion location,course of disease,compression site,imaging outcome,and whether the responsibility of blood vessels and other factors were compared between two groups,among which with significant differences in the factors was given multiple regression analysis.ResultsOf the 43 patients,2 cases were lost,and 41 cases were included in the study.Among them,12 cases(29.3%)were recurrent.The results of univariate analysis showed that age,type,imaging results were the main factors that affected the curative effect(P<0.05);multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that atypical trigeminal neuralgia,angiographic examination with vascular compression,intraoperative findings of the responsibility of blood vessels were the results of microvascular decompression in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia to reduce the efficacy of independent risk factors(P<0.05).Conclusion Atypical trigeminal neuralgia,imaging examination with vascular compression,intraoperative findings of the responsibility of blood vessels are the results of microvascular decompression in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia to reduce the efficacy of independent risk factors,these factors should be effective intervention measures to improve the prognosis of patients.
