Abstract Objective To collect the experiences of Professor Qiu Jianxing,a well-known Chinese medicine doctor in China,in the treatment of refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease,and to explore the medication rules and treatment ideas.Methods Clinical data of 80 patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease who were admitted to the famous doctor′s studio of Qiu Jianxing in Sanshui Hospital of Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2020 were retrospectively selected.The data table was established,the frequency analysis and descriptive analysis were conducted to analyze the medication rules.Results After treatment,the scores of reflux disease questionnaire(RDQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Professor Qiu Jianxing treated refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease,a total of 70 traditional Chinese medicines were used,among which 26 medications were used at a frequency of more than 10%.The most frequently used medications were cuttlebone,fritillaria thunbergii,corydalis tuber and magnolia officinalis,with a frequency of 100%,98.75%,86.25%,and 85.00%,respectively.Conclusion Professor Qiu Jianxing focuses on syndrome differentiation in the treatment of refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease and medications are consistent with pathogenesis.It can significantly improve patient′s sleep status and relieve negative emotions,indicating significant effect and high application value.
