Abstract：Chemical experiment is a very important means of practicing chemical theories, and it is also an important way to improve the overall quality of college students.Dangerous chemicals such as flammable, explosive, corrosive,and toxic chemicals are often used in chemical experiments.Once the protection and emergency treatment are improper, it is easy to cause safety accidents.Therefore, it is very important to carry out safety education for students in the teaching of chemical experiments.Safety education should be carried out throughout the experimental teaching process.Yunnan University teaches safety issues in chemical laboratories by Phenytoin Sodium synthesis experiments, including hazardous chemicals, chemical laboratory safety operations, and hazardous waste disposal in chemical laboratories.This means of teaching laboratory safety issues through specialized experiments has achieved good teaching results.
