Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the clinical effect of reasonable frequency of oral nursing in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation via oral trachea intubation.Methods88 cases in our hospital from December 2015 to December 2016 were selected and the digital table method was randomly divided into control group and experiment group, with 44cases in each group.who underwent mechanical ventilation via oral trachea intubation randomly according to the computer table method:control group underwent one time of oral care:while, experiment group underwent more than two times of oral care. The difference in various data between two groups was analyzed after different oral nursing interventions.ResultsThe oral cleanliness good rate of experiment group after symptomatic nursing intervention was higher than that of control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05),the incidence rate of ventilator associated pneumonia and ulcers was lower than that of control group with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);the bacteria count of pharyngeal specimens of experiment group was significantly higher than that of control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).However,the difference between the two groups in the incidence of fungal infections was not significant, without statistically significant difference (P>0.05).ConclusionApplication of oral nursing at reasonable frequency (≥two times)in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation via oral trachea intubation achieves significant effects, improves the frequency of oral care and oral cleanliness and reduces the incidence of ulcers and halitosis, which is worthy of wide application and research.
