Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the safety of medium-wave high-energy ultraviolet irradiation combined with 0.03%Tacrolimus Ointment in the treatment of vitiligo in children and the analysis of its influencing factors.MethodsA total of 120 patients diagnosed as pediatric vitiligo treated in our hospital from March 2014 to March 2017 were selected as research objects.Their clinical data were collected and analyzed retrospectively.According to the different therapeutic regimen, they were divided into the observation group, control group 1,and control group 2 evenly. In the observation group,40 cases were treated with medium-wave high-energy ultraviolet irradiation combined with 0.03%Tacrolimus Ointment,1 to 2 times per week,12 weeks for one course of treatment. In the control group 1,only ultraviolet radiation was used, and in the control group 2,only external application of Tacrolimus Ointment was adopted. The therapeutic effect, influencing factors, and safety among the three groups were analyzed.ResultsIn the observation group, the total effectiveness rate was 67.50%(27/40),significantly higher than that of control group 1 accounting for 50.00%(20/40),and control group 2 accounting for 42.5%(17/40),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the control group 1 and control group 2 (P>0.05).The onset time of color restoration of skin lesions in the observation group was (1.52±0.66)months,greatly lower than that in the control group 1 and control group 2,(1.90±0.95)months and(1.95±0.90)months(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the last two groups(P>0.05).The effectiveness rates of the head and face, the trunk, four limbs, and the end of extremities were all higher than those in the control group 1 and control group 2,but no statistical difference was detected when comparing the data between the control groups(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction for the first time in the observation group was 45.00%,which was the same as that in the control group 1,but slightly higher than that in control group 2 accounting for 40.00%.There was no significant difference between control groups (P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of children with vitiligo, application of medium-wave high-energy ultraviolet irradiation combined with 0.03%Tacrolimus Ointment can obtain a favorable effect in mild side effect and high safety and the therapeutic effects are mainly influenced by the affected site, course of disease, and treatment frequency, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
