Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of clinical characteristics on patients with gastric cancer developed perigastric soft tissue metastasis and its survival time. Methods The clinical data of 412 patients with radical resection of gastric cancer admitted to Dalian Third People′s Hospital from January 2015 to June 2020 were retroreviewed, and divided into the metastasis group (134 cases) and the untransferred group (278 cases) according to whether perigastric soft tissue metastasis was combined. The effect of different clinical characteristics on the development of perigastric soft tissue metastasis in gastric cancer patients, and the impact of different clinical characteristics on the survival of patients with gastric cancer and perigastric soft tissue metastasis were observed. Results The tumor site, tumor size, depth of infiltration, lymph node metastasis, presence of distant metastasis, Bomnann typing, differentiation, serum carcinoem bryonic antigen (CEA) level were related with gastric soft tissue metastasis (P<0.05). The tumor diameter, organ invasion, lymph node metastasis, combination of distant metastasis, serum CEA level, Borrmann classification and differentiation affected the survival of patients with gastric cancer and gastric soft tissue metastasis (P <0.05).Conclusion Soft tissue metastasis of gastric cancer often occurs in patients with ≥5 cm tumor diameter, infiltration depth of T4, with distant metastasis, lymph node metastasis degree>20%, low or undifferentiated carcinoma, Borrmann infiltration type, serum CEA>5 g/L, and poor prognosis in patients with perigastric soft tissue metastasis.
