Abstract：Objective Through questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the sports situation of preschool children(3-6 years old)in Shijingshan District,and provides reference for promoting children′s sports habit formation.Methods A random cluster sampling method was adopted to conduct a questionnaire survey on the basic information,family situation,community situation,sports situation,sports cultivation situation and parents′participation in sports in 6 kindergartens and nursery institutions in Shijingshan District from June 2018 to August.Results In 72.53% of families,the mother was the primary caregiver of the children in the preschool stage.91.58% of mothers have college degree or above,85.96% often work overtime or part-time,and do not spend enough time with their children.36.43% of the communities did not have outdoor activities,41.78% did not have outdoor activities,and 42.54% did not have special facilities and venues for children.12.81% of parents do not have favorite outdoor sports,27.12% of parents exercise for more than 1 h every day,and only 17.46% participate in outdoor sports every day.There was a difference between male and female children′s parents in the choice of sports mode(P＜0.05);There was no difference between male and female parents in sports cultivation of children (P＞0.05).31.44% of parents had received sports training for children.38.90% of the children participated in sports training at the present stage.88.42% of parents think it is very important for children to receive motor skills training.Conclusion The primary caregiver(mother)should be given more time to accompany children in their early school years and develop good exercise habits.It is suggested that various measures be taken to strengthen community construction,actively create and provide venues and Spaces suitable for children′s sports,standardize access and industry standards for children′s sports training institutions,and help children develop their sports ability.
