Application of case-based learning method in clinical teaching of general internal medicine

General internal medicine is an important part of clinical medicine,because the general internal disease involves a wide range and the disease manifestation is complex,which needs the clinician to focus on the research.Clinical teaching of general internal medicine is not only to impart relevant theoretical knowledge to medical students,but also more importantly to teach clinical learning physicians the ability to solve problems in practice.Although traditional lecture based learning(LBL)teaching method can better teach students theoretical knowledge,it is not as good as case-based learning(CBL)teaching method in cultivating students′ practical ability.CBL teaching mode can stimulate students′ interest in learning,improve their clinical critical thinking ability,closely connect theory with practice,and better cultivate students′ clinical diagnosis and treatment ability.
