Observation on the curative effect of laser combined with Ranibizumab in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of laser combined with Ranibizumab in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy.Methods A total of 110 patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy admitted to Meizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the research subjects,and divided into the control group(55 cases)and the research group(55 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was given laser treatment,and the research group was given Ranibizumab treatment on the basis of the control group.The effect of treatment and the changes of retinal thickness before and after treatment were compared.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.4%,which was higher than that of the control group(81.8%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in retinal thickness between two groups(P>0.05).On day 30 and 90 after treatment,the retinal thickness of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the retinal thickness of the study group was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of laser combined with Ranibizumab in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy has significant effects,which can effectively improve patients′ visual acuity,reduce retinal thickness,stabilize retinal blood vessels,and promote the improvement of patients′ quality of life,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
