Clinical effect of biomimetic electrical stimulation technology in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of biomimetic electrical stimulation technology in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. Methods Totally 90 patients with perimenopausal syndrome diagnosed and treated in our outpatient clinic from May 2016 to June 2018 were selected as research subjects.According to the method of drawing lots, they were divided into three groups:experimental group, control group and blank control group, with 30 cases in each group.The experimental group was treated with biomimetic electrical stimulation, the control group was treated with hormone replacement therapy, and the blank control group was treated with expectant treatment.The levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2) and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) before and after treatment and the clinical efficacy were compared among the three groups. Results The hormone levels (FSH, E2 and AMH) of the three groups before treatment were compared, and the differences were not statistically significant (P >0.05).After treatment, the FSH levels in the experimental group and the control group were lower than those before treatment, while the E2 level was higher than that before treatment with statistical significances (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of FSH and E2 in patients of the blank control group were not significantly different from those before treatment (P>0.05).The difference in the AMH level of the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment had no statistical significance (P>0.05).In the blank control group, the AMH level after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the FSH level in the experimental group and the control group was lower than that of the blank control group, and the levels of E2 and AMH were higher than those of the blank control group with statistical significances (P<0.05).The differences in the FSH, E2, and AMH levels after treatment between the experimental group and the control group had no statistical significance (P>0.05).The total therapeutic effectiveness rates in the experimental group and the control group were both higher than those of the blank control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The difference in the total therapeutic effectiveness rate between the experimental group and the control group had no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion The biomimetic electrical stimulation technology used in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome has the same effect as the hormone replacement therapy.It is non-invasive and painless, which is worthy of clinical promotion.Due to limited study time,long-term effect needs to be tracked.
