| Clinical effect of comprehensive method of traditional Chinese medicine treating Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of comprehensive method of traditional Chinese medicine treating Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis.Methods All of 114 patients with Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis treated in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were selected.According to the random number table method, patients were divided into the two groups, and each group had 57 cases.The study group was treated with comprehensive method of traditional Chinese medicine, while the control group was treated with conventional therapy.The total effective rate, clinical symptom score and quality of life score were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the study group (89.47%) was significantly higher than that in control group (75.44%) (P＜0.05).Before treatment, the symptom scores of stomachache, acid reflux, belching and abdominal distension between the two groups were not significantly different (P＞0.05), after treatment, the symptom scores for two groups were improved, but the scores in the study group were better than those of the control group (P＜0.05).The scores of physiological function,bodily pain, health status, social function and role emotional in the study group were higher than those of control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive of traditional Chinese medicine treating Helicobacter pylori-related gastritis has obvious effect, which can promote the rapid disappearance of related symptoms, improve the quality of life of patients, prevent their condition from continuing to develop and stabilize their condition.
