Application value of T cell spot test combined with adenosine deaminase activity in the diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy |

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of T cell spot test combined with adenosine deaminase activity in the diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy.Methods A total of 101 cases of patients with tuberculous pleurisy who were treated in our hospital from June 2016 to June 2018 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into the observation group (69 cases of tuberculous pleurisy) and the control group (32 cases of non-tuberculous pleurisy) according to the diagnosis results.Two groups were given the adenosine deaminase activity (ADA) detection and T cell spot test (T-SPOT.TB) detection.Then, the ADA levels, examination results, diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the two groups were compared.Results The level of ADA in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The positive rate of T-SPOT.TB combined with ADA was 98.55%, which was higher than that in the T-SPOT.TB and ADA in peripheral blood of 91.30% and 71.01%,respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The diagnostic accuracy and specificity of TSPOT.TB combined with ADA were higher than those in the T-SPOT.TB and ADA in peripheral blood, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in diagnostic sensitivity among the inspection methods (P>0.05).Conclusion The combined detection effect of T-SPOT.TB and ADA in the clinical diagnosis of tuberculous pleurisy is more effective, which can greatly improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis, provide a reliable basis for the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and helps patients to formulate a reasonable treatment program,thus it is worth promoting.
