Abstract Objective To investigate the influence of comprehensive thermal insulation system on hypothermia of neonatal open surgery. Methods The clinical data of 100 cases of neonatal laparotomy from January 2017 to February 2018 in our hospital were analyzed. According to whether the comprehensive thermal insulation system was implemented, the patients were divided into the control group (50 cases) and the observation group (50 cases). The control group did not use comprehensive heat preservation system, while the observation group used comprehensive heat preservation system. The rate of hypothermia and perioperative complications of the two groups were observed. Results The hypothermia rate of neonates in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05). The incidence rate of perioperative complications of the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of comprehensive thermal insulation system for neonatal open surgery can reduce the rate of hypothermia and incidence of perioperative complications,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
