Abstract ObjectiveTo study the clinical application effect of exhaled nitric oxide measurement on asthama-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (ACOS).MethodsForty-two patients with asthma-chronic,simple asthma,simple chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and non-respiratory diseases who were admitted and diagnosed in our hospital from July 2013 to March 2017 were selected and observation group,control group A,control group B and control group C respectively.before medication,four groups of patients accepted the measurement of exhaled nitric oxide,and the differences between the measurement of exhaled nitric oxide in observation group and the control group were compared.ResultsThe feNO value of the patients in the observation group was lower than that of the control group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).FeNO values of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control groups B and C,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The probability of FeNO≥27 ppb in the observation group was higher than that in the control group A,and there was no significant difference(P<0.05).The probability of FeNO≥27 ppb in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group B and C,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe measured value of exhaled nitric oxide in patients with asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is significantly different from those of asthma alone,COPD alone,and other non-respiratory diseases.Therefore,exhaled nitric oxide measurement plays a great differential diagnosis role in asthma-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and has an application value.
