| Clinical study of laparoscopic hepatectomy on treating hepatic calculus |

Abstract Objective To explore the feasibility of laparoscopic hepatectomy in patients with hepatic calculus in clinic. Methods Forty-eight patients with hepatic calculus from May 2012 to May 2014 in our hospital were recruited into the research,and were divided into two groups by a random number table.In control group,conventional partial hepatectomy was used,while in the observation group,laparoscopic hepatectomy was applied.The clinical cure rate,operation time,intraoperative amount of bleeding,recovery time of gastrointestinal function after surgery,time of being off bed,incidence of biliary fistula,and incidence of complications were studied and compared. Results The clinical cure rate in the observation group was 91.7％,and that was 83.3％in the control group,there was no statistically significant difference between two groups（P＞0.05）.The comparison of operation time,intraoperative amount of bleeding,recovery time of gastrointestinal function after surgery,time of being off bed,incidence of complications in the observation group had differences between two groups（P＜0.05）.The incidence of biliary fistula had no statistically significant difference between two groups（P＞0.05）. Conclusion For patients with hepatic calculus,application of laparoscopic hepatectomy can obtain a more remarkable effect and better safety,and presents with a clinical value for universal application in comparison with that by conventional partial hepatectomy.
