Inhibitory effect study of Resveratrol on proliferation of smooth muscle cell induced by angiotensinⅡ |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore inhibitory effect of Resveratrol on proliferation of smooth muscle cells induced by angiotensinⅡ.MethodsVascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)from rats were cultured in vitro.The cells were divided into angiotensin group,resveratrol gradient group,combined group and control group.The influence of resveratrol and angiotensin on proliferation of VSMCs was evaluated.The reaction on each group was lasted for 0,6,12,24 h,and proliferation of VSMCs was assessed by cell counting.The vitality of VSMCs was tested by MTT colorimetry and the results were compared and analyzed.ResultsWith regard to the results of cell counting,the general outcomes were angiotensin group, combination group,resveratrol gradient group,and control group from more to less,in which the cell counting of VSMCs in the angiotensin group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).In the resveratrol gradient group,the cell counting was lowest at 30 μmol/L when cultured for 24 h(P<0.05).In the combination group,cell counting at 30 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L were greatly lower than that at 10 μmol/L(P<0.05).Talking about cell viability,the general outcomes were angiotensin group,combination group,resveratrol gradient group,and control group from stronger to weaker.In the resveratrol gradient group,the cell counting was the highest at 30 μmol/L when cultured for 24 h (P<0.05).In the combination group,the cell counting at 30 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L was both less than that at 10 μmol/L (P<0.05).ConclusionResveratrol has a certain effect on proliferation of VSMCs,and has a strong inhibitory effect on proliferation induced by angiotensinⅡ.The effect differs in varied concentrations.
