Abstract ObjectiveTo study the effect of Dexmedetomidine in percutaneous nephrolithotomy under spinal anesthesia.Methods100 patient scheduled for percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the hospital from January 2014 to November 2016 were selected as the research object, according to the single blind random method, the patients were randomly divided into two group, each group had 50 cases.Anesthesia method of all patients was spinal anesthesia, the control group received intravenous infusion of physiological saline until the end of surgery, and the observation group received intravenous injection of Dexmedetomidine until the end of surgery. The vital signs, the condition of recovery period for anesthesia and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups.ResultsCompared with control group, after injection for 30 minutes and at the end of the operation, blood pressure, body temperature and heart rate in the observation group were significantly higher(P<0.05),the blood pressure, body temperature and heart rate after injection for 10 minutes in two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05);there was no significant difference in postoperative recovery time between two groups(P>0.05),but the sedation score, analgesic score and agitation score in the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionIn spinal anesthesia, percutaneous nephrolithotomy using Dexmedetomidine assisted anesthesia can be effective in patients with stable vital signs, reduce the adverse reactions during the operation, but also can effectively maintain the sedation at postoperative anesthesia recovery period, and postoperative recovery will not be caused interference.
