Application effect of health education pathway in chemotherapy of patients with advanced lung cancer |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of health education pathway in chemotherapy of patient with advanced lung cancer.Methods 90 patients with advanced lung cancer who were admitted to our hospital from March 2015 to March 2017 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group via random number drawing (n=45).The control group was given conventional treatment and diagnosis methods,and the observation group was given the approach of health education pathway on the basis of the conventional treatment and diagnosis methods.The SDS and SAS were selected,so as to conduct a follow-up survey for the psychological conditions of the patients with advanced lung cancer before and after the diagnosis and treatment and the degree of nursing satisfaction.Results The standard rates of drug knowledge,disease knowledge,healthy diet,self-care and treatment compliance in the two group,there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the scores of SDS and SAS were significantly decreased in the observation group after the diagnosis and treatment via health education pathway(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education pathway on the basis of conventional diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve the understanding of the disease in the patients with advanced lung cancer,effective enhance patients′compliance with the treatment,and improve their satisfaction.
