Effect of hepatic artery chemoembolization combined with radiofrequent ablation on serum T lymphocyte subsets and transforming growth factor β1 levels in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)combined with radiofrequent ablation(RFA)in the treatment of patients with liver cancer.Methods A total of 61 patients with liver cancer admitted to the Department of Liver Surgery of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to July 2020 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(30 cases)and the observation group(31 cases).The control group was treated with TACE,and the observation group was treated with RFA based on the control group.The clinical efficacy,immune function and growth factors of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of observation group(61.29%)was higher than that of control group(36.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and CD8+was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1)and vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion TACE combined with RFA in the treatment of liver cancer has a significant effect,which can improve the immune function of patients and regulate the level of growth factors.
