| Analysis of effect of high-quality care in prevention of phlebitis caused by intravenous infusion |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of high-quality nursing in prevention of phlebitis caused by intravenous infusion.Methods Altogether 90 cases of patients with intravenous infusion who were treated in our hospital from October 2016 to March 2017 were selected and randomly divided into two groups:45 cases of the control group were given routine nursing care and 45 cases of the observation group were given the implementation of high-quality nursing.The post-treatment intravenous prevention knowledge scores,the incidence of phlebitis and the nursing satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups.Results Post-nursing treatment environment score [(8.98±1.23)points],nursing skill score[(9.32±1.25)points],health education score[(9.66±1.25)points],service attitude score[(8.97±1.65)points],nursing effect score[(9.55±1.46)points]and intravenous prevention knowledge score[(26.98±2.36)points]of patients in the observation group were higher than those in control group [(5.36±1.23),(6.68±1.45),(7.23±1.45),(6.98±1.45),(7.23±1.14),(18.32±1.25)points];the incidence rate of phlebitis(2.22%)of the observation group was significantly lower than that of control group (20.00%),with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of high-quality nursing care of patients with intravenous infusion can effectively reduce the incidence of phlebitis and improve the patients′satisfaction of nursing work,which is worthy of further clinical application.
