Abstract Objective To study the cerebral protective effect of Sevoflurane on controlled blood pressure reduction in patients with coronary heart disease undergoing craniocerebral surgery. Methods Fifty-two patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) who underwent cranial surgery in Yidu Central Hospital of Weifang City in Shandong Province from January 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into experimental group and reference group according to random number table method, with 26 cases in each group. All patients underwent controlled blood pressure reduction after opening the dura mater. The experimental group was given Sevoflurane combined inhalation, and the control group was given Sodium Nitroprusside intravenous pump. The levels of S100 calcium binding protein β (S-100β protein),neuron-specific enolase (NSE),creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB),troponin I (TnI)before and after surgery were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of postoperative complications was compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in the levels of CK-MB and TnI between the two groups before and after operation (P>0.05).The levels of CK-MB and TnI in the two groups after surgery were higher than those before surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of serum NSE and S-100β protein in experimental group after operation were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of serum NSE and S-100β protein in the two groups after operation were higher than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in experimental group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Sevoflurane can effectively protect the brain tissue by controlling blood pressure reduction in patients with coronary heart disease during craniocerebral surgery, which can be used for further research.
