| The preventive effect of low frequency oscillation therapy instrument on gastrointestinal dysfunction in stroke patients |

Abstract Objective To investigate the preventive effect of low frequency oscillation therapy instrument on gastrointestinal dysfunction in stroke patients.Methods From September 2018 to March 2020,a total of 200 patients with cerebral apoplexy who were treated in Jingdezhen NO1.People′s Hospital and stayed in bed for a long time were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into control group(100 cases)and observation group(100 cases),according to random number table method.The control group was treated with traditional methods to prevent gastrointestinal dysfunction,the observation group was treated with low-frequency oscillation therapeutic apparatus on the basis of traditional methods to prevent gastrointestinal dysfunction.The incidence of gastrointestinal dysfunction,satisfaction with the intervention mode,quality of life and mental state scores before and after intervention,duration of tolerance to enteral nutrition and total duration of hospitalization were compared between the two groups during treatment.Results During the treatment period,11 patients in the observation group developed gastrointestinal dysfunction,and 40 patients in the control group developed gastrointestinal dysfunction,the incidence of gastrointestinal dysfunction in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The satisfaction of intervention mode in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the quality of life scores in the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the mental state scores were lower than those before intervention,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the mental state score was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The duration of tolerance to enteral nutrition and total duration of hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Low frequency oscillation therapy instrument can prevent gastrointestinal dysfunction in stroke patients to a certain extent.
