Application value of ear wash ball combined with inverted position in the cleaning of respiratory secretions of normal delivery newborns |

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of the ear wash ball combined with inverted position in the cleaning of respiratory secretions of normal delivery newborns.Methods From March 2019 to April 2020,240 cases of normal delivery newborns in Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital,Jiangxi Province were selected as the research objects.They were divided into the control group and the experimental group by random number table method,120 cases in each group.In the control group,the respiratory secretions were cleaned by routine method,in the experimental group used ear wash ball combined with inverted positions to clear respiratory secretions.The asphyxiation rate,abnormal heartbeat rate,vomiting rate,and milk rejection rate between the two groups were compared.Results The total neonatal asphyxia rate in the experimental group was 1.67%,which was lower than that in the control group(11.67%),which was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of abnormal heartbeat in the experimental group was 2.50%,which was lower than that in the control group (10.00%),which was statistically significant (P<0.05).The vomiting rate in the experimental group was 4.17%,which was lower than that in the control group of 23.33%,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The milk rejection rate of the experimental group was 2.50%,which was lower than that in the control group (15.00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ear wash ball combined with inverted position in the cleaning of respiratory secretions of newborns in normal delivery can reduce the rate of neonatal asphyxia,abnormal heartbeat,vomiting and milk rejection.
