椎间孔镜技术治疗腰椎间隙感染的效果

Abstract Objective To observe the effect of intervertebral foraminal technique in treating lumbar intervertebral space infection. Methods A total of 56 patients with lumbar intervertebral space infection admitted to Shangrao People′s Hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group (28 cases) and an experimental group (28 cases) according to the alternate grouping method. The control group was treated with traditional open surgery, and the experimental group was treated with foraminoscopy. The basic operation situation, length of stay, hospitalization cost, pain, infection index and total effective rate were observed in the two groups. Results The operation time and hospitalization time of patients in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, the amount of intraoperative blood loss in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, and the hospitalization cost in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significances (P＜0.05). There were no significant differences in visual analog scale (VAS) scores before and 3 d after surgery between the two groups (P＞0.05). Three days after surgery, VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before surgery, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There were no significant differences in erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels between the two groups before and 3 d after surgery (P＞0.05). Three days after surgery, ESR and CRP levels in the two groups were lower than those before surgery,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion The efficacy of foraminoscope technique in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral space infections is equivalent to that of open surgery, but it can significantly shorten the patients′ hospital stay, reduce medical expenses, and alleviate patients′ pain. It has the characteristics of less trauma and quicker recovery after surgery.
