Investigation on Physical Fitness of Preschool Children Aged 3-4 in Pingxiang City from 2017 to 2019 |

Abstract Objective To investigate the physical fitness of preschool children aged 3-4 years in Pingxiang City from 2017 to 2019. Methods Atotal of 2203 cases of 3-4 years old preschool children admitted to Pingxiang City Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects. According to gender, they were divided into male group (1167 cases) and female group (1036 cases). Counted the comprehensive physical fitness scores of the two groups of children, analyzed the comprehensive ratings and various physical fitness indicators of children of different ages. Results From January, 2017 to December, 2019, among preschool children aged 3-4 years in Pingxiang area, the overall physical performance of male students accounted for 13.96%, the passing rate was 63.67%, the good rate was 18.25%, and the excellent rate was 4.11%. The overall physical performance of girls failed 10.81%, passed 57.24%, good 25.10% and excellent 6.85%. Among them, the failure rate and passing rate of male students are higher than that of female students, while the good rate and excellent rate of male students are lower than that of female students. The excellent rate and good rate of children aged 3-4 increased gradually, while the passing and failing rates decreased gradually. The values of height, weight, standing long jump and tennis throw distance of boys and girls aged 3-4 years all increased with age, while the values of 10-meter turn-back, continuous jumping with both feet, sitting forward flexion and walking balance beam all decreased with age, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Through the analysis of preschool children′s physique in Pingxiang area, it is convenient to give effective guidance for children′s physique in the future, help to improve children′s physique and promote their all-round development.
