Application effect of clinical path teaching method in orthopedic nursing practice teaching |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of clinical path teaching method in orthopedic nursing practice teaching.Methods A total of 96 nursing students who practiced in Guangzhou Liwan Central Hospital from January 2017 to August 2019 were enrolled,and were divided into the control groups and the observation groups according to the random number table method,48 cases in each group.The control group implemented the traditional conventional teaching method,and the observation group implemented the clinical path teaching method,and the teaching time was 1 month.The theory implementation,practical operation skills and satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results After 1 months teaching,the assessment scores in each dimension of the theoretical knowledge of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Indwelling after 1 month of teaching needle infusion,fracture site fixation,bone traction,and drainage bag replacement performance in practice operations were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Overall satisfaction with the work of nursing students after teaching was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Carrying out clinical path teaching method in orthopedic nursing practice teaching can improve the theoretical knowledge level of nursing students,improve practical operation skills,and the satisfaction of nursing workers is high.
