Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of red and blue light combined with electromagnetic wave in the treatment of upper limb closed fracture.Methods A total of 210 patients with closed fracture of upper limb who were admitted to Dongguan Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(n=70),observation group 1(n=70)and observation group 2(n=70).The control group were given cephalosporin class II antibiotics 0.5-1 hour before operation,and the wounds were treated with regular dressing and hand hygiene.On the basis of the control group,observation group 1 received red and blue light photon irradiation on the surgical site.On the basis of the control group,the two groups were given red and blue light photon therapy combined with electromagnetic wave therapy device to irradiate the surgical site.The wound infection rate,suture removal time,postoperative hospital stay,1 day before operation,3,5 days after operation were compared among the three groups.Results The infection rate of observation group 1 and observation group 2 was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the infection rate of observation group 2 was lower than that of observation group 1,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The suture removal time and postoperative hospital stay of observation group 1 and observation group 2 were shorter than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the suture removal time and postoperative hospital stay of observation group 2 were shorter than those of observation group 1,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS score of observation group 1 was higher than that of control group and observation group 2 on the first day before operation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Red and blue light photon therapy combined with electromagnetic wave therapy can effectively prevent incision infection in patients with upper limb fracture,shorten the time of suture removal and hospitalization days,and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
