Application value of atrial electrocardiogram in the location of implantable venous access port in the patients with mammary cancer |

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of atrial electrocardiogram in the location of implantable venous access port in the patients with mammary cancer.Methods From May 2019 to May 2020,a total of 88 patients with mammary cancer who were to treated with totally implantable venous access ports(TIVAP)chemotherapy admitted to Jiangxi Cancer Hospital were selected as the research objects,and divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 44 cases in each group.In the control group,TIVAP was located and catheterized with conventional methods,while in the experimental group,TIVAP was located and catheterized with the assistance of atrial electrocardiogram.The success rate of one-time catheterization was compared between the two groups,the position of catheter tip was determined by chest X-ray film as control,the accuracy of catheter tip positioning was compared between the two groups,and the complications related to catheterization and satisfaction of patients with catheterization were counted.Results The success rate of one-time catheterization and the accuracy of catheter tip positioning in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,with statistically difference(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,with statistically difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Catheter placement in the infusion port of mammary cancer patients under the guidance of atrial electrocardiogram can improve the accuracy of catheter tip location,reduce related complications,and improve the success rate of catheter placement and patient satisfaction.
