| Effects of sports rehabilitation nursing combined with home self-care on self-care ability and quality of life of elderly patients with chronic heart failure |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of sports rehabilitation nursing combined with home self-care on self-care ability and quality of life in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.Methods A total of 200 elderly patients with chronic heart failure admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shenyang Medical College from September 2018 to May 2020 were selected and divided into the control group(100 cases)and the observation group(100 cases)according to random number table method,the control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given exercise rehabilitation nursing combined with home self-nursing.The self-care ability,quality of life and cardiac function were compared between the two groups.Results Before nursing,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)between two groups were compared，the differences had no statistical significance(P＞0.05); after nursing,LVEDD,LVESD in two groups were lower than before nursing,the LVEF in two groups were higher than before nursing,LVEF,LVEDD of the observation group were higher than those in the control group,LVESD of the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing,the scores of nursing competency scale(ESCA)and quality of life scale(SF-36)in the two groups were compared,the differences had no statistical significance(P＞0.05);after nursing,the scores of ESCA and SF-36 in the two groups were higher than before nursing,the scores of ESCA and SF-36 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Exercise rehabilitation nursing combined with home self-care has a good effect on improving the self-care ability and quality of life of patients with the disease.
