Application effect of internet+ collaborative nursing service model in nursing home chronic wounds of the elderly |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of the internet+ collaborative nursing service model in nursing home chronic wounds for the elderly. Methods A total of 108 patients with chronic wounds admitted to Xiaogan Central Hospital from August 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group (54 cases) and the observation group (54 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group used routine nursing, the observation group adopts conventional internet+ collaborative nursing. The pain score, pressure ulcer healing scale (PUSH) score, wound healing time, wound temperature, bacteria positive rate, chronic woundrelated knowledge score, self-care ability were compared between the two groups. Results The visual simulation method(VAS) and PUSH scores of the observation group after nursing were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the wound temperature of the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group, and the positive rate of bacteria (3.70%) was lower than that of the control group (16.67%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of chronic wound-related knowledge and ESCA self-care ability measurement scale (ESCA) scores of the observation group after nursing were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of the internet+ collaborative nursing service model in the elderly home chronic wound care can reduce the pain degree of patients, improve their wound healing, shorten their wound healing time, increase their wound temperature, reduce the appearance of positive bacteria on the wound, and increase his knowledge of chronic wounds and his self-care ability.
