Application of intelligent chronic disease management system in the management of primary hypertension in rural areas |

Abstract Objective To explore the application of an intelligent chronic disease management system(Yiyi system)in the management of primary hypertension in rural areas.Methods A total of 200 patients were diagnosed as hypertension in in two natural villages in Xiaojiang Town in Jiangxi Province from January 2019 to June 2020 were selected as research object,and they were divided into an experimental group and a control group using the respective natural villages as the grouping criteria,each had 100 cases.The control group accepted routine management such as hypertension monitoring and life behavior intervention,and the experimental group accepted the intelligent chronic disease management system(Yiyi system)for follow-up management.The knowledge of hypertension,the rate of blood pressure control and the incidence of complications were compared.Results The standard treatment awareness rate,diagnostic criteria awareness rate,complication awareness rate,and hyperlipidemia awareness rate of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);blood pressure control rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the intelligent chronic disease management system(Yiyi system)in the management of primary hypertension in rural areas has effectively increased the rate of hypertension compliance and significantly reduced the incidence of complications,which plays an important role in improving the quality of life of patients.
