Significance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with color ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma and metastatic hepatic carcinoma |

Abstract Objective To investigate the significance of differential diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC)and metastatic hepatic carcinoma(MHC)by contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)combined with color ultrasound.Methods A total of 92 patients with liver cancer admitted to Tieling Central Hospital from June 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the research subjects.According to different etiology,they were divided into the PHC group and the MHC group,with 46 cases in each group.CEUS and color ultrasound were used in the PHC group,and the methods of examination in the MHC group were the same as those in the PHC group.The detection rates of CEUS,color ultrasound and CEUS combined with color ultrasound were compared between the two groups,as well as the blood perfusion and blood supply in the CEUS and color ultrasonography.Results The peak time of the PHC group was longer than that of the MHC group,and the enhancement intensity was higher than that of the MHC group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the initial increase time of the MHC group was longer than that of the PHC group,the enhancement rate and 50% clearance slope were higher than that of the PHC group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The flow velocity of hepatic artery in the PHC group was shorter than that in the MHC group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The detection rate of CEUS combined with CDUS was higher than that of CEUS and CDUS,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CEUS combined with color ultrasound can obtain higher differential diagnosis value for PHC and MHC,and has clinical application significance.
