Effect of Budesonide,Azithromycin and Terbutaline on the treatment of children with acute bronchitis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Budesonide,Azithromycin and Terbutaline on the treatment of children with acute bronchitis.Methods Clinical data of 96 children with acute bronchitis treated in Tai′an Maternal and Child Health Hospital,Shandong Province from March 2018 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into the control group and the study group according to different treatment methods.The control group was treated with Azithromycin and Terbutaline,while the study group was treated with Budesonide on the basis of the control group.The time of symptom disappearance and hospital stay,blood gas indexes,forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1),maximal expiratory flow at 50% of the forced vital capacity (MEF50) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) of the two groups were compared.Results The time of symptom disappearance and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the fraction of inspiration oxygen (FiO2),arterial partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide in artery (PaCO2) between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment,the FiO2 and PaCO2 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,PaO2 was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in FEV1,MEF50 and PEF between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment,the FEV1,MEF50 and PEF in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For children with acute bronchitis,Budesonide,Azithromycin and Terbutaline in combination can improve lung function and blood gas indexes,shorten the time of symptom disappearance and hospital stay,and symptoms disappearing in a short period of time,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
