| Effect of Williams life skills training intervention on the physical and mental health of nurses in operating room |

Abstract Objective To investigate the influence of Williams life skills training intervention on the physical andmental health of nurses in operating room.Methods A total of 92 operating room nurses in our hospital from May 2016 to May 2018 were selected as subjects.According to the complete randomization,they were divided into the observation group(n=46)and control group(n=46).The observation group received Williams life skills training intervention model,and the control group received traditional intervention model.The scores of work stress,work environment,work time assignment,self-efficacy aswell as the total incidence of diseases between the two groups were compared.Results The scores of work stress,work environment and work time assignment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after intervention,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).The self-efficacy score of nurses in the observation group was higher than that of the control group after intervention,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The total incidence of disease of nurses in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Williams life skills training intervention mode can effectively improve the self-efficacy of nurses in the operating room,reduce their work stress,and ensure their physical and mental health,which is worthy of promotion.
