Application effect of out-of-hospital continuous diet intervention on patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery |

Abstract Objective To explore application effect of out-of-hospital continuous diet intervention on patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery.Methods Seventy patients with gastrointestinal surgery received in our hospital from April 2017 to August 2018 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into control group (n=35) and nursing group (n=35) according to random number table method.Patients in the control group were received routine nursing measures, and the nursing group was given out-of-hospital continuous diet intervention on the basis of the control group.The nutritional indicators, functional rehabilitation effects and complications of the two groups of patients were compared.Results After 6 months of nursing, the hemoglobin, red blood cell count, and body mass index of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, and the above indexes in nursing group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the total excellent rate of functional rehabilitation in the nursing group was 91.43%, higher than 68.57% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);total complications of obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, nausea and vomiting, and palpitations in the nursing group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Out-of-hospital continuous diet intervention for patients with gastrointestinal tract surgery has good clinical effect.It can improve the nutrition index during the rehabilitation of patients, promote the rehabilitation of gastrointestinal function after surgery, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and promote the early recovery of patients.It is worthy of clinical promotion.
