Application of high-flow oxygen humidification in patients with craniocerebral injury combined with gas-cut |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application of high-flow oxygen humidification in patients with craniocerebral injury combined with gas-cut. Methods From September 2018 to February 2019, 68 patients with head injury and tracheotomy treated in First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University were selected as subjects. The control group was treated with routine airway humidification and the study group was treated with high flow oxygen humidification.The humidification effect, complications and sputum aspiration times were compared between the two groups. Results The humidification effect in the study group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of sputum aspiration in the study group was fewer than that in the control group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion High flow oxygen humidification is performed in patients with craniocerebral injury complicated with air resection, which can effectively improve airway humidification, reduce complications and reduce sputum aspiration.
