Analysis of the utilization of blood components in Yunfu City from 2015 to 2018 |

Abstract Objective In order to understand the utilization status of blood components in Yunfu city,to analyze the preparation,supply and inventory of component blood in our city from January 2015 to December 2018.Methods Based on the information about preparation of blood components,finished products and movements of blood resource in and out of stock,a statistic analysis of preparation,supply and plasma inventory of erythrocytes,plasma,platelets,cryoprecipitates in our station was made from 2015 to 2018.Results From 2015 to 2018,the utilization rates of erythrocytes,plasma,platelets and cryoprecipitates were 94.17%,51.62%,97.62% and 98.03%,respectively.The utilization rate of frozen plasma was 11.39%,and that of fresh frozen plasma was 9.55%.A total of 14 154.0 U was scrapped due to lipid blood,leakage,unqualified examination,etc.,and the(fresh)frozen plasma stock reached 60 814.5 U.The utilization rate of virus inactivated(fresh)frozen plasma was more than 85.00%.4362.0 U was scrapped due to lipid blood,leakage,unqualified examination,etc.,at present,the stock of virus inactivated frozen plasma was 8924.5 U. Conclusion Through the systematic statistical analysis,the blood composition can be reasonably and scientifically prepared,so as to reduce the resource obsolescence or overstocking due to overdue,and reasonably utilize the surplus plasma.
