Effect of percutaneous full spinal endoscopic precision decompression in the treatment of degenerative lumbar stenosis |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of percutaneous full spinal endoscopic precision decompression in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis.Methods A total of 35 patients with degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to March 2017 were selected as the objects,according to the different treatment schemes,the patients were divided into the observation group(19 cases)and the control group(16 cases).The observation group was treated with percutaneous full spinal endoscopic precision decompression,while the control group performed traditional laminectomy decompression therapy.The therapeutic effects (including digital pain assessment[NRS]score and Oswestry functional dysfunction index questionnaire[ODI]index)and surgical related conditions(including intraoperative bleeding,hospitalization time and complications)were compared between the two groups.Results The NRS score and ODI index of 1 month and 1 year after treatment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood loss in the observation group was less than that of the control group,and the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in total incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous full spinal endoscopic precision decompression is safe and effective in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis,which can effectively alleviate the related symptoms.
