| Influence of community traditional Chinese medicine nursing on quality of life in elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the influence of community traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing on the quality of life(QOL)in elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis.MethodsThe clinical data of 92 senile patients with rheumatoid arthritis in our community from January 2014 to January 2016 were collected.According to patient′s will,they were evenly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 46 cases in each group,in the control group,the clinical conventional routine method and nursing was used,in the experimental group,community TCM nursing was applied on the basis of the control group.The patient′s QOL was assessed by SF-36 scale,and the rehabilitation effect was compared between the two groups.ResultsThe quality of life score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=8.694,P=0.000).The total effectiveness rate in the experimental group was 97.40%,which was significantly better than that of the control group accounting for 77.10%with a statistical difference (P<0.01).ConclusionImplementation of the community TCM nursing has a positive effect on QOL in the elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis,and it is worthy of clinical application.
