| The role of continuous health education combined with routine care in peritoneal dialysis patients |

Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of continuous health education combined with routine nursing in peritoneal dialysis patients.MethodsFrom February 2014 to December 2016,100 patients with peritoneal dialysis who treated in our hospital,According to the random number method,50 cases in each group were divided into study group and control group were selected.The control group received routine nursing,and the study group received continuous health education combined with routine nursing.The compliance,complications,readmission and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups at 8 months after discharge.ResultsThe compliance rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),the complication rate and readmission rate in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).ConclusionIn patients with peritoneal dialysis catheter care in the selection of continuing health education combined with routine nursing can effectively improve the compliance behavior of patients,reduce the incidence of complications and readmission rate,conducive to the establishment of a harmonious relationship between nurses and patients.
