Effectiveness of application of whole-course nursing intervention in patients with diabetic retinopathy |

Abstract Objective To explore the effectiveness of application of whole-course nursing intervention in patients with diabetic retinopathy.Methods A total of 100 diabetic retinopathy patients examined by fundus fluorescein angiography in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2017 were randomly divided into control group and study group,50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,while the study group was given whole-course nursing intervention.The incidence of adverse reactions,symptom checklist 90(SCL-90)scores,anxiety and depression scores and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of fever,vomiting,dizziness,urticaria and total adverse reactions in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the scores of SCL-90 in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of anxiety and depression between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After intervention,the scores of anxiety and depression in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction(98.00%)in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The whole-course nursing intervention can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and improve patients′bad mood and quality of life in patients with diabetic retinopathy who underwent fundus fluorescein angiography.
