Application of homemade Y-tube in exhaust emissions during laparoscopic surgery |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of homemade Y-tube on exhaust emission in the laparoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 118 patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery from September 2016 to June 2017 in our hospital were selected and evenly divided into control group and observation group by drawing lots method,59 cases in each group.In the control group,traditional pneumoperitoneum tube was used,and in the observation group,homemade Y-tube was adopted.The intraoperative handling time of pneumoperitoneum tube,the average application cost,the average hemostasis time,the effectiveness rate of application and the satisfaction of medical staff were compared between the two groups.Results In the observation group,the handling time of pneumoperitoneum tube and average hemostasis time were all shorter than those in the control group,average application cost was lowser than that in the control group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).The effectiveness rate of application in the observation group was 94.92%,higher than that in the control group accounting for 81.36%,with a statistical difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of medical staff on tube application in the observation group was 96.61%,higher than that in the control group accounting for 84.75%,which difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of homemade Y-tube in laparoscopic surgery does not affect the smooth operation,and has the advantages of shortening the exhaust time,reducing air pollution and decreasing the operating cost,which is worthy of promotion.
