Value analysis of BI-RADS ultrasound combined with mammography in the diagnosis of breast carcinoma in situ |

Abstract Objective To explore the value of BI-RADS ultrasound combined with mammography in the diagnosis of breast carcinoma in situ.Methods From October 2013 to September 2016,78 female patients with breast cancer in situ confirmed by biopsy in People′s Hospital of Qingxin District of Qingyuan City and the Third Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University were proved by pathology were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were examined by BI-RADS ultrasonography and mammography before biopsy,and compared with the pathological biopsy results,the detection rate,misdiagnosis rate and sensitivity in the diagnosis of breast cancer by using BI-RADS (ultrasound examination),mammography alone(X-ray examination)and the combination of both were compared.Results The detection rate of combined examination(94.94%)was higher than that of BI-RADS ultrasonography(87.17%)and mammography (76.92%),with significant difference (P<0.05).The detection rate of BI-RADS ultrasonography was higher than that of mammography,with significant difference(P<0.05).The total sensitivity of BI-RADS was 87.17%,which was higher than that of mammography(76.92%),with significant difference(P<0.05).Among them,the diagnostic sensitivity of the grade 4 in BI-RADS was significantly higher than that of mammography,with significant difference(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference in the diagnosis sensitivity of grade 5 andⅤdiagnosis between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion BIRADS ultrasound combined with mammography has higher detection rat and higher sensitivity in diagnosis of breast carcinoma in situ,which is worth to promoting.
