Application effect of respiratory humidification treatment apparatus in weaning patients with ICU mechanical ventilation |

Abstract Objective To observe the application effect of respiratory humidification treatment apparatus in weaning patients after mechanical ventilation.Methods From January 2014 to March 2015,46 patients given conventional double nasal mask dual channel oxygen inhalation after ICU mechanical ventilation were selected as control group,32 patients using AIRVO2 type respiratory humidification treatment apparatus from March 2015 to November 2016 were selected as treatment group after ICU mechanical ventilation.Sputum viscosity 6,12,24,48,72 h after weaning,the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection,the blood gas index 6,12,24,48,72 h after weaning,secondary mechanical ventilation rate and bleeding rate of airway were compared between two groups.Results In the treatment group from weaning 6 h, patients withⅠ degree of sputum viscosity was significantly more than that in the control group,the patients withⅡdegree of sputum viscosity was less than that in the control group,nobody withⅢ degree of sputum viscosity;the patients in the control group hadⅢdegree of sputum viscosity from weaning 24 h,and with the increase of weaning time, the number of cases was gradually increased.At the same time point humidification effect in the treatment group was obviously superior to that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).72 h after weaning,the incidence of pulmonary infection in the treatment group was 3.13%,in the control group of 9.38%;1 week after weaning,the incidence of pulmonary infection in the treatment group was 9.38%,lower than that in the control group of 25.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6,12,24,48,72 h after weaning,SpO2,PaCO2,PaO2in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).1 week after weaning,nobody in the treatment group appeard secondary mechanical ventilation,3 patients in the control group with mechanical ventilation,mechanical ventilation rate in the control group was 9.38%,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Bleeding rate of airway after weaning in the treatment group was 6.25%,in the control group of 71.88%,there was statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of respiratory humidification treatment apparatus after mechanical ventilation is better than the current conventional dual route oxygen inhalation,can reduce the incidence of adverse events,and it is worth promoting in clinic.
